ERSA Summer League Feedback

This coming Sunday we have the third race in the ERSA ‘Team Evolution’ Summer League taking place up at Norfolk, block logo one of the best Snowsports centres in England.  You can still register for the race here. As with any start to the season it takes a couple of races to get into the swing of things but even with the odd snag here and there both races at Welwyn and Milton Keynes have proved very successful and thank you to all those that have attended and helped to ensure the races were a success.

Also especially encouraging is that both racers were better attended than the same ones last season and the Norwich race this weekend is looking the same. Here are a couple of comments from the recent race at Milton Keynes.

Sega Fairweather – Team Evolution attended the Milton Keynes race:

Thank you so much for having me!
The race was run really well, and although it felt a bit manic to you, to those that weren't in the race office, things ran really smoothly.
I was also impressed with how quickly the race was run--I am used to being there all day and just hanging around. The same goes for the prizegiving, it was great that there was no wait and everyone could get home at a reasonable hour.
Thank you again and good luck with the rest of the series,
Sega

Dear Ersa,
Thanks again for all the effort put to hold this event. From a competitor/parent point of view the hillside event appeared to run very smoothly. The courses were put up without any delay, snow held up well, starting ramp was relatively easy for kids to climb, grooming went well and (most importantly for my sanity!) my kids very much enjoyed it. We all obviously missed the rainbow/stampede side of things which I find to be a great way for different children and adults to mix and interact. I know there is little you can do which I suspect is down to slope time/costs.
Thanks again to the committee and army of helpers. Regards, Marco

A reminder that if you were at the the Welwyn ERSA Neil from Racer Ready was there taking plenty of photos and you can drop him an email to see what he has.
