All England Championships

The last weekend of August saw the most prestigious race of the summer season, the All England Championship, back at Norfolk.   It was a day of fast skiing, lots of fun and some great results for ERSA skiers.

Alex Ogden took the U10 title for Norfolk with his team mate Travis Parker taking second.

Joseph Thompson took the male U12 title by just 4 hundredths of a second over Jack Upton from Midlands.  Norfolks Tommy Dade finished third. Abby Holmes, also from Norfolk, had to rely on a fast second run after skiing out on the first to take the U12 female title.  Just 14 hundredths separated the top three U12 girls with Hemels Nia Boty taking third place.

Aaron Troung of Vikings set the two fastest runs in his category to win the U14 male title while Hemel Skiers Toby Case and Charlotte Tapsell finished third.

Alexandra Lillywhite of Vikings finished 2nd in the U16s and Norfolks Tom Holmes took third in the male category.

Norfolk’s Megan Coe and Tom Richardson took silver in the female and male U18 categories while  Melissa Sampson won the female Masters title.
