  • Senior and Masters Training

    I recently sent out an email to people about a special training session for the Masters in the near future, thanks to those who replied. We have now been able to sort out a date with the Hemel Snow Centre and thanks to Team Evolution we will be holding the training session on Sunday 7th October from 2pm - 7pm. It is open to those racers training with an ERSA regional club and any Senior or Masters.

    Programme for the afternoon will be;

    2.00 - 3.00 - Introduction off slope work
    3.00 - 6.00 - On slope coaching
    6.00 - 7.00 - Off slope work and debrief

  • ERSA 2012 AGM

    The ERSA AGM will be held after the race at Welwyn on Saturday 29th September 2012. If you have anything you would like to discuss or would like to stand on the committee please forward to the ERSA Secretary, Don Daley, at secretary@ersa.co.uk.

  • SSE AGM Details

    The AGM for Snowsport England this year will be taking place on Sunday 14th October at Loughborough. More details in the attached document.

     

  • BARSC Champs change of plan

    If you are planning on attending the BARSC races read the update first.

     

  • Freestyle event at Suffolk

    The 2012 Suffolk Slope Style event takes place at Ipswich on Sunday 26th August.

  • Minutes from recent Future discussions published

    Snowsport England have published a copy of the minutes from the recent meetings held in Stoke and Hemel about the future of ski racing. A copy of the minutes are attached here.

  • Tri Regions Invite Posted

    The Tri Region race this year will take place on Saturday 13th October at Bromley ski centre. It is being run by the LSERSA region and details are on the invite here.

  • SSE–Talent Development Officer vacancy

    Snowsport England are looking for a Talent Development Officer to join the team. Full details of the role can be found in the attached document.

     

  • Tallington Results posted

    The results from Tallington can be found here. Congratulations to the Team Evolution winners today in the BG1 category who were Nia Boty and Joseph Thompson.

    The annual Farmers Jam is taking place over at Norfolk on September 7th – 9th.

  • Will and Luke Feneley

    It’s not all just about Alpine racing as Will and Luke Feneley have proved over the past season. Not only are they active members of Norfolk race team and take part in many races they are also active Freestyle members.

    The following photos are a mix of those taken by their mother Jane and thanks to Neil at Racer Ready for the others which have purchased.

  • Regional Feedback

    Now that we are in July it is time to get some feedback about how the races are progressing. More importantly how can we improve the races in the future. In order to find out more about your thoughts I have put together the following feedback form. There are a few questions about different aspects but they are simple and you do not have to complete everything but the more you do the better, 10 minutes. The more information you provide though the more we can do to improve how the region works.
