I have recently received an invitation to a meeting with SSE and other regional chairs which will take place on the 17th January. I will be attending and the details of the letter are below. This is a result of the recent changes instigated after the SSE AGM. If you have any comments, thoughts or suggestions please email me Bernard Wright at chair@ersa.co.uk. Happy to discuss in person or by phone if that is easier.

Thank you to everyone who has put their name forward for the 2014 Tri Regions at Welwyn. It has been an excellent response and we have more names than we have places in the teams. We need 5 racers for 8 teams plus reserves. We have made an initial selection, over the next few weeks we may need to modify the teams if someone drops out. If there is a reason you can no longer attend please let us know quickly, chair@ersa.co.uk. We also need helpers for the days so again please offer your help that day.
At the weekend a few racers from the ERSA region made the journey to Pontypool for the Welsh Champs on the Saturday and British on the Sunday. Pontypool is a challenging long slope, set in beautiful surroundings and enclosed by trees. There were a number of crashes but our skiers held their nerve and skied their best.
The last weekend of August saw the most prestigious race of the summer season, the All England Championship, back at Norfolk. It was a day of fast skiing, lots of fun and some great results for ERSA skiers.
Alex Ogden took the U10 title for Norfolk with his team mate Travis Parker taking second.
