200 young people have been hitting the slopes as part of the Sportspark Norfolk School Games.

From complete beginners to experienced skiers the young people of Norfolk have been skiing at the Norfolk Snowsport Club for taster sessions and races.

Whilst some have been given their first experience of skiing others have been racing against the clock to earn a place in their school sports partnership’s team for the Sportspark Norfolk School Games final on the 1st March where all 8 partnerships will be bringing their teams to the Norfolk Snowsport Club for the opening event of the Winter School Games.

After the taster sessions and races 30 young people have taken up the opportunity to return to the club on one of two Sportivate courses, one for beginners and another to improve the racing skills of experienced skiers.
