Hemel ERSA Details

 

Start Lists for Sunday attached. We intend running 3 courses,

SKIERS RIGHT – CH1/CH2/JN1/JN2/SEN (Females)
SKIERS LEFT  – CH1/CH2/JN1/JN2/SEN (Males)
 
All have been randomly drawn in MIN/BG1/BG2,  CH1/CH2,  JN1/JN2/SEN groups male and female separately. Same order both runs.
 
Please listen to the PA system during the day for changes to timetable.

Please note specific rules applicable to indoor snow and Hemel in particular.
 

HSRC/Snow Centre Rules

  • The training slope, to the right of the main slope will be out of bounds, there will be public lessons in progress on this slope at various times.
  • Please ski in a considerate and safe manner during open practice and remember you will be continually viewed by people in the bar/restaurant area. Lifts must only be joined at the bottom unless authorised.
  • Helmets must be worn by all athletes whilst on the slope and during open practice bibs MUST BE WORN, not carried or around the neck. Racers without a bib will be asked to leave the slope.
  • Coaches may accompany their racers during course inspection. Due to the declared fire capacity ONLY officials allowed in the snow arena during the race.  
  • Only authorised people allowed in the snow arena, this includes any area of the snow through the airlock. These doors are not to be kept open.  
  • No outside shoes to be worn in the snow arena unless authorised.
  • No food or drink to be taken into the snow arena.
  • No walking up the slope unless authorised.
  • Due to Health and safety regulations no skis in the bar area unless in a ski bag, boots may be worn anywhere within the centre. There is a ski rack at the top of the stairs just before entering the bar area.
  • Remember it will be cold inside so appropriate clothing is required. Cat suits NOT recommended and not allowed for MIN/BG1/BG2.
  • Please leave the changing rooms tidy. Ensure you gear is stowed away and not blocking access lanes.
  • In the event of any emergency please listen to the PA system and follow the instructions of race officials or ski centre staff. 
  • The Edge will be serving breakfast rolls and coffee from 0730, a full service will be available during normal opening times. Only food purchased in the “Edge” café/bar may be consumed in the centre. 

Finally please have a good day, be careful and listen to announcements by the commentator.
