The committee meeting scheduled for the 3rd March has been cancelled. This is due to availability and also the proximity to the Race Managers meeting (which itself had to be delayed).

The race managers meeting took place on Sunday 24th February, minutes published here, and one of the items discussed was the format for 2013. The following has been agreed;
U10 to run through stubbie courses, all other age categories run through full height poles.
The Annual Norfolk Night Slalom is taking place on the 9th March. Its open to all members of the club whether a club racer or non racer. On the same evening we have with ski and snowboard tasters and a tubing session, and will be a great time to show the friendly passion and talent that our club members have!
The Norfolk and Ipswich club national are swapping dates. The Norfolk race will now take place on Saturday 8th June and the Ipswich race Suday 9th June.
Time to Listen course now available for all Club Child Welfare Officers – as part of your role of being a Child Welfare Officer it is a requirement that you attend one of these courses.
Last week Toby Deighton took part in his first International race for Team GB in the Czech republic. He came 6th in the GS which was a podium and 15th in the slalom. Video of his races can be found on his website at tobydeighton.com. He has also been selected for Abetone in Italy in March.
Younger brother Harry was competing in the Welsh Championships in Champery, Switzerland and won a bronze in the slalom.
Congratualations to Robert Poth, from Hemel, for winniong the U16 International Slalom race in the Czech Republic. It is a fantastic result for Robert and more details can be found here.
Congratulations to Robert Poth for his 2nd place at the 2013 Czech Republic National Slalom. Also well done to Nia Jenkins for her 4th place in the FIS GS at Champery and scoring 100 FIS points. Well done to Kieran Norris for coming 4th overall 1st GBR racer.

We recently posted an update to the proposed format for 2013 here. Thanks to everyone for their feedback from all clubs and it certainly was mixed but very welcome. As a result of the feedback the proposal has been updated to the following;
Congratulations to Robert Poth who came first in the U16 night slalom in Ellmau, Austria on the 28th December. He finished ahead of his close team mate Jordan Fellows. Also well done to Alex White who came in 9th.
