The SSE Inter Regional event will be taking place at Gloucester again this year on Sunday 3rd July. Gerard Flahive and Michael Molloy are both organising a team to make the trip over to Gloucester. ERSA will pay the entry fee for the team into the event and supply team t-shirts.
If you would like to take part you first need to have a valid SSE license and then contact either Gerard or Michael or send an email to inter-regional@ersa.co.uk.
The acceptance list for the Welwyn club national are the weekend has been published here. There is still time to enter online or direct with the race secretary.
The Welwyn club national takes place on Saturday 7th May and it is the first club national hosted by the home race team. If you are registered with SSE and free that weekend why not head over there for the Saturday as the entries are still open.
It will also give you a good chance to practice before the first ERSA regional race on the 22nd May which is also at Welwyn.

Over the past year Jasmin Taylor has taken up Telemark skiing and some fantastic results. Jasmin spent time on the Alpine racing circuit and then Ski Cross being successful at each.
The SSE Annual General Meeting will be taking place on Saturday 18th June 2011 commencing at 10.30am. It will be taking place at Sports Park, Loughborough University, 3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 3QF. The attached form has the details about nominations for Directors.
The summer race season is just about to start and we have a lot going on in the region again this coming year. You don’t have to travel very far to take part in a variety of races.

Just a quick News Flash & a big thank you for supporting the " newly formed " English SX Squad who had their 1st Team event this weekend at Hoch -YBrig.
It was highly successful " Team Event" coached and managed by Mike Hammond and Andy Proudlove.
Briefly the Team did really well and I was really pleased with their performances overall.

Hello everyone, my name is Susie Moore and I have recently started at Snowsport England as a Sports Development Officer for the South, this taking over from Vicki Pullin.
Health problems related to smoke and pollution in the ski waxing rooms have attracted increased attention in recent years. Leading researchers in this field come from Sweden and Norway. Invited by Inggard Lereim, head of medical and anti-doping for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Oslo 2011, these researchers presented their latest results for doctors, head coaches and leaders of the team service teams in a special research seminar on the topic held in Holmenkollen on 22nd February.
